Job Summary
Interpret collective bargaining agreement provisions and advise management on labor relations matters. Track grievances, manage disciplinary actions, and conduct workplace investigations regarding employee relations and policy violations. Support labor negotiations by researching data, preparing materials, and assisting with contract language. Maintain accurate documentation, review labor policies, and train supervisors on agreements and documentation practices. Analyze labor relations trends, prepare reports for leadership, and respond to internal and external inquiries while ensuring compliance with labor laws. Conduct field reviews and site visits as needed to maintain data integrity and support implementation of negotiated pay rates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, human resources, labor relations, or a related field
- 2 years' experience in labor relations, civil rights compliance, or related programs
- 3 years' experience conducting workplace investigations
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license or ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation to perform job duties (investigations, etc.)
- Must be able to remain stationary 50% of the time
- Must be able to constantly operate a computer or other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine, computer, printer, etc.
