Human Resources Specialist

Job Summary

Partner with team leaders to execute HR strategies focused on employee training, workforce planning, and engagement while ensuring timely and accurate entries to HRIS databases. Coordinate recruitment activities, prepare job reacquisition requests, and communicate policy guidance regarding payroll, compliance, and employment inquiries. Monitor employee engagement through remote interactions and drive effective retention and reward programs within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Adapt to macro-economic changes and fiscal policies to recommend value-added HR solutions. This full-time, on-site role requires a charismatic public speaker with strong interpersonal skills to address performance gaps and manage multiple priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as an HR Specialist or recruiting positions
  • Some Undergraduate level education in Human Resources
  • Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Understanding of training tools and techniques
  • Possess effective conflict resolution skills
  • Possess time management, planning, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to work in a professional but fast-paced environment
  • Excellent planning, management, and coordination skills
  • Address knowledge, expertise, and performance gaps with constructive feedback
  • Comfortable with providing and accepting critical feedback
  • Capable of prioritizing and organizing work efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the job is based
  • Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL II background and/or security investigation with a fingerprint
  • Must be willing to submit to drug screening
  • Must exhibit good business judgment and acumen by being both confident and flexible in their views

Desired Qualifications

  • Military, local, state or federal government experience is a plus
  • Experience working in a contact center environment is a plus
  • Graduation from an accredited two-year or four-year college or university is a plus
  • SHRM-SCP or similar certification is a plus
