Job Summary
Serve as the Human Resources representative for Lexington and Louisville facilities, supporting associate relations, recruiting, and organizational development. Provide counsel to management on workplace concerns, coordinate full-cycle recruiting including sourcing and onboarding, and conduct new hire orientation. Develop and oversee engagement activities, safety programs, and community involvement initiatives. Write internal communications, maintain relationships with local leaders and media, and administer the Spirit for Education Scholarship Program. Maintain OSHA-compliant safety records and workers' compensation documentation. Work at least four days in the office weekly with approximately 5-10% travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a closely related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Experience working with HRIS systems, preferably ADP
- Experience using applicant tracking systems, preferably Jobvite
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs, including InDesign and Photoshop
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with associates, management, customers, vendors, and external partners
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive information
- Ability to travel approximately 5–10% as needed
