Job Summary
Serve as a regional HR expert for Canada, managing employee lifecycle events, local payroll providers, and benefits brokers while guiding clients on in-country compliance, legislative requirements, and benefits. Lead end-to-end compliance projects and resolve complex client inquiries by applying analytical thinking to develop win-win solutions. Maintain meticulous records in online portals, drive the adoption of AI tools to automate workflows, and proactively address potential errors through creative negotiation. Work independently to support customer acquisition and strengthen long-term relationships through proactive HR guidance.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree or higher in Human Resources, International Business, Accounting, Law, or a related field
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, and/or HR Business Partner
- Solid working knowledge of HR concepts, practices, and procedures
- in-depth knowledge of Canadian employment laws and legal requirements related to the in-country management of professionals
- Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize, self-motivate, and regulate while working independently and in a team environment
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and French (oral and written fluency)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint

- Willingness to work flexible hours across time zones, as required for international business
