Job Summary
Performs HR functions including end-to-end onboarding (creating position/requisition, background checks, pre-screenings, and new hire orientation), coordinates LSRC/Gaming License processes, interacts with the LA State Police Gaming Commission for gaming applications, processes tax clearances and MVRs, conducts I-9 audits, maintains payroll and benefits-related transactions in SAP/ADP/WFS, supports compliance reporting and anniversary recognition, and assists HR leadership with administrative tasks and special projects. Requires strong computer skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, ability to handle confidential information, and ability to lift up to 25 pounds in an office/casino environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, HR or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum of two years of job-related experience in HR
- must be 21 years or older
- must be able to obtain a Racing License commissioned by LSRC
