Job Summary
Administer leave of absence and workers' compensation processes, including supporting claim status, resolving questions, and ensuring accurate time records and benefit payments. Facilitate new hire orientation, check-ins, and ongoing touchpoints while providing coaching on policy interpretation and employee relations matters. Support site off-boarding, workplace committees, and reporting activities to maintain accurate employee files and promote cultural initiatives. Partner with management to improve work relationships and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HR processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of related experience in Human Resources
- Demonstrated skills to work in a fast paced envirorment where attention to detial is critical
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytical and system thinking ability; demonstrated through previous experience
- Strong initiative and results orientation
- Ability to convey information effectively and professionally to others, be an active listener, and develop healthy working relationships with others
- Ability to consistently achieve business results
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to follow through on commitments
- Demonstrated Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,) proficiency
- Good judgement, decision making skills and ability to keep information confidential
- This is a hands-on, in-person HR role
