Job Summary
The Human Resources Specialist will lead onsite HR initiatives supporting leadership and Outfitters in the store, covering staffing, training, engagement, orientation/onboarding, and administrative functions, and will assist the General Manager with administrative duties. Responsibilities include assisting with hiring/staffing for hourly outfitters, ensuring training completion/monitoring, processing HR actions in HRIS/Payroll/Scheduling, maintaining confidentiality, coordinating associate recognition, communicating HR policies, maintaining compliance and records, supporting performance management and succession planning, resolving first-level outfitter issues, and handling administrative tasks (invoices, expenses, travel for Outfitters/leaders). Travel may be infrequent. Proficiency in HR-related software and strong communication skills are required. Full-time position withBass Pro Shops benefits and equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources
- 1-3 years human resources and administrative/office experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
