Job Summary
Administer HR and benefit processes, including FMLA/LOA, unemployment claims, and FLSA compliance. Process new hires, conduct pre-employment screenings, and resolve benefit claims and life events. Troubleshoot HRIS functions for onboarding, time tracking, and personnel status changes while maintaining data confidentiality. Train clients on HRIS tools and collaborate on process automation and enhancements. Document all interactions in the company CRM. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while supporting internal and external business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with Human Resources emphasis
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Human Resources best practices with knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Ability to prioritize with a strong sense of urgency or delegate when appropriate
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and people skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally using a variety of tech-based mediums
- Self-motivated to continually adapt and learn
- Ability to sit for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and telephone
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds
