Job Summary
HR Service Center Specialist provides policy guidance to employees and management, conducts full employee life cycle activities (onboarding/offboarding) across all levels using HR systems including ATS, maintains HRIS and timekeeping (e.g., ADP, Kronos), coordinates leaves (medical, personal, workers’ compensation, military) in compliance with policies and laws, responds to employee relations issues, and participates in or leads project teams to implement people strategies. Requires 3–6 years HR experience, advanced Excel, knowledge of FMLA and employment law, ATS/I-9/HRIS/timekeeping familiarity, and strong organizational skills. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas)
- Experience with FMLA, employment law, and regulatory compliance
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), I-9 verification software, HRIS, and timekeeping systems
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with high attention to detail
- Proven ability to handle escalated and sensitive employee relations situations with diplomacy and professionalism
- Good judgment to research, analyze, and recommend solutions consistent with policies, laws, and best practices
