Job Summary
Meijer is seeking an HR Representative to support store leadership in a Greenfield, WI retail environment. The role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, training, employee relations, and program implementation to drive engagement and retention. The incumbent will manage staffing processes, oversee onboarding and training, advise leadership on HR policies and career development, and partner with the HR Market Manager on projects. This position is onsite and aligned with the responsibilities of an HR Generalist/Senior Generalist in a retail setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School or equivalency required
- Associate Degree or above in Human Resources preferred
- 2 Years experience in HR Generalist, Sr. HR Generalist, HR Manager or equivalent
- 2 Years experience in Employee Relations and Investigations
- 2 Years of Experience with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Schedule flexibility as business needs exist
- Ability to develop relationships across organization (up, down, sideways)
- Ability to lead or facilitate meetings and discussions
- Confidentiality and trust in handling HR matters
- Onsite HR role in Greenfield, WI
