Job Summary
Conduct high-volume, full-life-cycle recruiting including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and dispositioning applicants while maintaining up-to-date candidate status in ATS and Excel systems. Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation, process personnel documentation, and manage offboarding procedures for terminated employees. Collaborate with leadership to compile data for government compliance, prepare reports on HR topics, and explain company policies to employees and applicants. Maintain confidential personnel and vendor files in accordance with company policy.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
- Two to five years of relevant experience in an HR office environment (additional education may substitute for experience or vice versa)
- Possess excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Proactive in tracking tasks and following up with candidates
- Must be adaptable, flexible, and organized in daily activities
- Knowledge of laws and government regulations pertaining to employee selection, hiring, business practices, etc.
- Basic knowledge of principles and procedures for: compensation and benefits, selection, and personnel recruitment, providing customer service and employee training
- Ability to problem solve and maintain confidential information
- Be able to use electronic equipment (i.e., computer, scanner, fax machine, etc.)
- Ability to communicate with others via face to face, phone, email, text messaging and video conferencing
- Ability to work within web-based systems (i.e., SharePoint, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), New Hire Onboarding Systems, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience maintaining updated candidate status/reporting information using MS Excel and ATS systems
