Job Summary
Director-level HR Operations leadership responsible for shaping and executing HR strategy in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Reports to the Chief People Officer and partners with executive leadership to drive workforce planning, change initiatives, and organizational growth. Oversees day-to-day HR operations, payroll operations (domestic and international), and HRIS (Workday) systems; ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and international employment laws including GDPR; fosters a positive, inclusive culture and leads employee engagement initiatives; provides guidance on compensation, benefits, and benchmarking; maintains HR data, dashboards, and compliance reporting; mentors HR staff and supports mergers and acquisitions-related integrations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally within international professional services.
- Demonstrated expertise in payroll administration (domestic and international) and compliance.
- Advanced knowledge of Workday HRIS (HR and payroll modules), including implementation, reporting, and optimization.
- Experience managing HR across multiple states and international jurisdictions, including GDPR compliance.
- Prior involvement in mergers, acquisitions, or organizational integrations (not required).
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
