Job Summary
Maintain accurate employee records on Farm Costing Solutions and verify daily clock-ins to ensure correct payroll processing in SAGE Payroll. Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and induction sessions while preparing employment contracts and training documentation. Provide guidance on labour legislation, manage disciplinary processes, and act as the site's HR liaison for union visits. Assist with Workplace Skills Plan submissions, Employment Equity meetings, and Health and Safety records. Support operational HR initiatives and resolve employee queries regarding policies and procedures. This role offers exposure to a broad range of HR functions within a collaborative agricultural business environment.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations or a related field
- 3–5 years' experience in a Human Resources role
- Knowledge of South African labour legislation including BCEA, LRA, Skills Development and Employment Equity Acts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Excellent organisational and planning ability
- High attention to detail and strong administrative skills
- Ability to build professional relationships across all levels
- Discretion when handling confidential HR matters
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SAGE Payroll and Farm Costing Solutions (FCS) will be advantageous
