Human Resources Manager

Job Summary
Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with Verifone's global and regional strategies to attract, retain, and develop the workforce for France operations. Build strong relationships with key leaders to counsel, coach, and train local managers while ensuring adherence to French employment laws and union relations. Partner with Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards teams to coordinate hiring, manage benefits programs, and establish orientation training for new joiners. Drive a culture of feedback through goal-setting, appraisals, and career development initiatives while proactively resolving human capital issues within the company's matrix structure. This role supports business transformation efforts by communicating organizational changes and driving engagement across Spain, Italy, and Portugal.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 8+ years of HR management experience within a multinational organization
- Strong knowledge of France employment laws and HR best practices
- Fluent English language
- In depth knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior leaders and employees across multiple functions
- Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, self-starter, problem-solving and conflict-resolution aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability is necessary to quickly gain credibility across all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- preferably in the technology or payments industry
- Proficiency in additional languages i.e Spanish, Portuguese, Italian
- Workday & Greenhouse experience
