Job Summary
Conduct day-to-day performance management guidance for line management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions. Formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services that align business objectives with employees and designated business units. Develop and implement recruiting and staffing strategies to attract diverse talent, while overseeing the full recruitment process from job description drafting to interview coordination and offer management. Analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Directly supervise HR Business Partners and indirectly assist in coaching department leaders, while identifying training needs and monitoring program success.
Required Qualifications
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
- Effective time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Sound analytical judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skill required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience recruiting, staffing, and retaining employees
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

- Bachelor's degree preferred
- SHRM Certified Professional preferred
