Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and organizational development. Develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives while leading the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding. Serve as the primary resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and coaching, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Partner with leadership on workforce planning, change management, and continuous improvement efforts to attract, develop, and retain top talent. Maintain accurate employee records and HR metrics for senior leadership reporting. This role partners closely with executive leadership within a growing food manufacturing organization in Wasco, CA, fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources management experience
- Strong knowledge of federal, California state, and local employment laws and Human Resources best practices
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and policy administration
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR-related software systems
Desired Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or comparable Human Resources certification
- Experience working within a medium-to-large manufacturing or industrial organization
- Experience utilizing HRIS systems and payroll software
- Experience leading organizational development and change management initiatives
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
