Job Summary
Develop and monitor human resources policies to ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational standards. Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and overseeing benefits administration for health plans and retirement programs. Lead affirmative action initiatives, coordinate disciplinary procedures, and maintain accurate HR records for workforce analytics. Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and prepare reports on compliance and metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources management or HR generalist roles
- Strong knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and affirmative action requirements
- Proven experience in benefits administration and employee relations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR
- Experience working in a unionized environment or with collective bargaining agreements
- Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and data analytics tools
- Advanced training in conflict resolution or mediation
- Experience managing HR operations in a multi-site or diverse organizational setting
