Job Summary
Oversee talent management, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding while administering benefits, compensation, and rewards. Maintain and refine HR policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state labor regulations. Conduct investigations, resolve employee grievances, and counsel supervisors to manage conflicts and support succession planning. Build strong stakeholder relationships, champion high-quality onboarding, and develop training programs to address skill gaps. Manage time and attendance systems to ensure accurate salary computation and monitor workplace accidents for insurance purposes.
Required Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience
- 3+ years in Human Resources (or very similar role)
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
- Experience working with a Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
- Strong understanding of federal and state laws applicable to Human Resources
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate in Spanish
- Good interpersonal skills and an ethical mindset
- Ability to identify skill gaps and identify training needs
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
- Identify talent and create career and succession plans
Desired Qualifications
- Food Manufacturing experience is highly preferred
