Job Summary

Oversee HR functions within a manufacturing plant, including policy development, employee relations, training and safety compliance, benefits administration, HR metrics, staffing, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with management and supervisors to address staffing needs and talent management, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws (including OSHA), and serve as a trusted resource for employees on HR policies and workplace issues.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management, with specific experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Thorough understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations, with focus on employee relations, recruitment, and compliance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport across levels
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities; proactive in addressing workplace issues
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to manage a team and drive HR initiatives
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications; ability to generate reports and analyze data
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices relevant to manufacturing environments; commitment to safety culture
