Job Summary
HR Manager responsible for overseeing staffing, policy development, and employee relations to support staffing, compliance, and risk mitigation. Leads full recruiting cycle, onboarding (including Paylocity HRIS), I-9 verification, and maintenance of employee data and job descriptions; manages background screenings; leads annual teacher contract issuance; administers leave programs (FMLA, PFML) and accommodations (ADA); develops and updates HR policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations; supports performance management, coaching supervisors, and incident resolution; provides policy guidance and training; 40-hour full-time role aligned to a 12-month school calendar; requires a Bachelor's degree and 3-5+ years HR experience; must affirm Christian faith; background checks required; office-based role in Colbert, WA with standard benefits and tuition discount.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- 3-5+ years HR experience including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, leave and accommodations, and compliance
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS
- Ability to maintain confidential employee records and ensure audit-readiness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to Christian values and faith
- Able to pass National and Washington State Patrol background checks
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- 3-5+ years of demonstrated HR experience in a mid-sized organization (50+ employees)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience using Paylocity or other similar HRIS system

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
