Job Summary
Lead employee experience initiatives to improve engagement, satisfaction, and retention while fostering a positive workplace culture that supports teamwork and accountability. Serve as a trusted resource for staff regarding HR-related questions, process biweekly payroll accurately, and coordinate onboarding for new employees including background checks and documentation. Assist department managers with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and performance management activities, while maintaining employee records in compliance with federal, state, and company requirements. Support employee retention through engagement programs and benefits administration, ensuring adherence to all employment laws and regulations. Partner with facility leadership to identify workforce challenges and participate in audits and regulatory reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Prior Human Resources experience within a nursing center, skilled nursing facility, long-term care, post-acute care, or healthcare setting
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and gain trust and support from employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong employee relations and conflict resolution skills
- Superior organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including wage and hour compliance, labor relations, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, privacy regulations, and other applicable federal and state employment laws
