Job Summary
Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution while supporting talent and succession planning. Champion an inclusive workplace culture by leading engagement initiatives, onboarding new team members, and managing employee relations matters with empathy. Ensure HR excellence through policy guidance, leave administration, and I-9 compliance. Partner with stakeholders to deliver learning and development opportunities and use workforce metrics to drive retention. Coordinate onboarding, transitions, and offboarding while maintaining consistent HR practices across three hospitals in Latham, NY, Williston, VT, and Lebanon, NH.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Strong employee relations experience
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Experience developing HR programs and training initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 healthcare operation when needed
- Ability to travel regularly to our Vermont and New Hampshire hospitals
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred
- veterinary experience is a plus
