Job Summary
HR Manager for Mitsubishi Films America’s Polyester Films Division in Greer, SC. This highly visible leadership role partners with site leadership to drive business performance, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Lead and develop the site HR team, oversee day-to-day HR operations, workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent strategy. Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives; lead employee relations including investigations, conflict resolution, coaching, and performance management. Provide strategic HR guidance to leaders, ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, support organizational change and leadership development, and oversee recruiting, onboarding, and compensation administration. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, 8+ years in HR with 3+ years in a leadership role, manufacturing experience, strong employment-law knowledge, credibility across the organization, and familiarity with HR systems such as Workday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience
- at least 3+ years of leadership responsibility
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Experience with HR systems such as Workday is a plus
