Job Summary

Lead multi-district human resources functions and generalist activities to support company and division goals. Drive employee and labor relations, talent management, onboarding and hiring processes, merit/gross wage reviews, performance planning for hourly employees, and district/company compensation/headcount planning. Provide guidance to business partners and direct reports, influence succession planning, ensure compliance with employment laws, and lead contract negotiations. Manage a team (3+ direct reports) across mining locations and professional offices with frequent travel; oversee annual merit processes, onboarding, and administrative HR duties. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 8-10 years HR experience with 5+ years in management; SHRM-SCP and advanced degrees preferred. End-state: strategic HR leadership to build best-in-class HR operations in a manufacturing/mining environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 8-10 years in the human resources field with at least 5 years at the management level is preferred.
  • Preferred Master’s degree in HR management or MBA.
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred.
