Job Summary
Human Resources Manager responsible for overseeing recruitment, total compensation, and training and development within a Marriott International property. Key duties include managing recruitment and hiring processes, establishing external recruitment networks, attending job fairs, candidate identification and selection, and providing SME guidance on selection. Administers and educates on employee benefits, handles unemployment claim processes, and ensures accurate reporting. Supports employee development through new-hire orientation and ongoing training, ensures cross-training, and coordinates departmental orientation to promote guest service. Maintains employee relations via open communication channels, enforces consistent performance expectations, and collaborates with management to ensure compliant record-keeping, privacy, safety, and workers compensation processes. Represents HR at safety and compliance activities and facilitates proper documentation and file management according to policy. Maintains nondiscrimination and equal opportunity commitments across the property.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 3 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area OR 2-year degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major with 1 year experience in HR, management operations, or related professional area
