Job Summary
Lead HR activities for the Mars, PA manufacturing facility and partner with plant leadership to align HR initiatives with operational goals. Provide coaching and strategic guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development; drive employee engagement, retention, recognition, and culture initiatives; lead investigations and policy interpretation; ensure compliance with employment laws; support talent management, training programs, and leadership development; support recruiting for salaried and hourly roles; utilize HR metrics to identify trends and drive improvements; implement and communicate HR programs and organizational changes; manage salary administration and provide guidance on compensation decisions; act as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders while maintaining organizational health and culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in manufacturing
- Experience managing employee relations, workplace investigations, coaching leaders
- Knowledge of federal and Pennsylvania employment laws including wage/hour regulations, leave administration, accommodations, and safety
- Experience in workforce planning, engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness
- Experience in performance management, talent development, and succession planning
- Recruiting experience for salaried and hourly staff
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong analytical skills and HR data usage
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR reporting tools
