Human Resources Manager

Job Summary

Oversee all aspects of the Human Resources function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, training and development, and organizational development. Lead the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding while partnering with managers on workforce planning. Serve as the primary resource for conflict resolution, coaching, and performance evaluations, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws. Coordinate benefits administration and maintain accurate HR metrics for senior leadership. Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives to attract and retain top talent. This role supports a well-established food manufacturing organization in Wasco, CA, fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture through continuous improvement and change management initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources management experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal, California state, and local employment laws and Human Resources best practices
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and policy administration
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR-related software systems

Desired Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or comparable Human Resources certification
  • Experience working within a medium-to-large manufacturing or industrial organization
  • Experience utilizing HRIS systems and payroll software
  • Experience leading organizational development and change management initiatives
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
