Job Summary
Human Resources Manager for the Washington, DC market focused on employee relations, performance management, recruitment support, compliance, and HR operations across multiple restaurant concepts. Partners with Operations leadership and the People & Culture team to support all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including engagement initiatives, onboarding, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. Builds strong relationships across all levels, fosters an inclusive, accountable, and hospitable workplace culture, and drives retention and business performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within hospitality, restaurants, hotels, retail, or multi-unit operations
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience managing employee relations investigations and performance management processes
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build credibility with leaders at all levels
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Experience working within HRIS systems; Paylocity experience preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- Ability to travel locally between restaurant locations as needed
