Job Summary
HR Manager will partner with executive leadership to align HR strategy with industrial business goals, oversee full-cycle recruitment, ensure legal compliance (including DOT regulations), manage employee relations and internal investigations, collaborate on safety and workers' comp claims, oversee compensation and benefits programs, develop and enforce policies and the employee handbook, drive workforce retention through training and conflict resolution, support HRIS and payroll activities, and handle offboarding and exit compliance. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR and at least five years of HR experience; role is based in Watkinsville/Athens, GA and is full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a directly related field
- Minimum of five years' work experience in a human resources capacity
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations related to HR
- Experience developing corporate compensation and benefit plans
- Discretion to work with confidential and sensitive issues
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks under deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
- Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office
