Job Summary
Deliver day-to-day HR support for the Montreal site and Canadian salaried workforce, managing recruitment, onboarding, training, performance, and employee relations while addressing inquiries with discretion. Partner with local and remote leadership to align HR initiatives with business priorities, coach leaders on team development, and reinforce policies that enhance workplace culture. Lead compliance with Quebec regulations including CNESST, pay equity, and provincial bodies, while reviewing and implementing HR policies. Compile metrics and reports to support decision-making and champion workplace health and safety initiatives. Manage absence and leave programs for salaried employees using HRIS systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5–7 years of progressive HR experience
- Fluently bilingual in French and English
- Strong understanding of Canadian and Quebec employment legislation and its practical application
- Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, influencing, and conflict‐resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‐paced environment with flexibility and independence
- High integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion
- Strong business acumen with attention to detail and a compliance mindset
- Collaborative, energetic, and solutions‐oriented, with strong problem‐solving capability
