Job Summary
Conduct full-cycle recruitment for the store, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer extension, and new hire orientation. Manage employee relations by counseling leaders on investigations, documentation, corrective action, and termination meetings, while maintaining daily entries in the case management system. Lead weekly payroll processing, perform daily timecard edits, and ensure accurate records before payroll close. Partner with the Support Office to develop strategies for recruitment, employee relations, associate development, and total rewards. Build relationships with associates to foster inclusion and belonging, manage leave options including FMLA, STD, ADA, and Worker's Compensation, and serve as a direct resource on benefits. Facilitate company recognition programs, roll out training, and leverage people data to guide decision-making and improve results. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations while maintaining regular attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Human Resources or Operations Management experience of at least 2 years
- Strong knowledge in Recruiting
- Strong knowledge in Employee relations
- Strong knowledge in Compensation and Total Rewards programs
- Working knowledge of employment law and regulations
- Displays strong attention to detail
- Accurate spelling and grammar skills
- Strong typing and computer skills
- Demonstrated ability to work on highly confidential matters and to maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong level of influence skills
- Ability to interact with all levels within the organization
- Ability to work independently and apply sound judgement on HR and business issues
- Excellent time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with, coach, and advise others
- Ability to bend, stretch, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to walk the store each day
- Professional presence and proper phone etiquette
