Job Summary
Lead HR operations for Legends Global at Etihad Park (NYCFC stadium) overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and HR programs for full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff. Partner with leadership to forecast staffing needs, ensure compliance with labor laws, manage worker’s compensation leaves and benefits, administer Collective Bargaining Agreement processes, and drive a high-performing, service-focused culture. Provide coaching to managers, support workforce planning for games and events, implement engagement initiatives to improve retention, and support pre-opening activities. Requires presenting to audiences, influencing across functions, and willingness to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years of HR leadership experience; union experience; Workday/HRIS/ATS experience a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of human resources experience in a leadership capacity
- Union experience required
- Extensive working knowledge of federal, state, and local labor law including worker’s compensation, workplace safety, EEOC, NLRB, and FLSA
- Experience with Workday a plus
- Hands-on HRIS and ATS experience
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, listening)
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to work extended hours including Nights, Weekends, Holidays
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Ability to foster relationships across functions and communities
- Experience in hospitality or F&B environment preferred
