Job Summary
Serve as the primary HR business partner to site leadership across Louisville and San Diego facilities, providing hands-on support for the hourly employee population in Processing and Kiosk Operations. Lead employee relations efforts including investigations, conflict resolution, and coaching supervisors while managing full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, attendance, and leave administration. Ensure compliance with federal, Kentucky, and California employment laws, partner with Operations on workforce planning and labor cost management, and drive engagement programming to strengthen retention. Maintain accurate HR records, prepare metrics reports, and support local implementation of company-wide initiatives. Travel regularly between facilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of progressive HR generalist/manager experience
- direct experience supporting hourly, multi-site, or industrial/operations workforces
- Working knowledge of federal, CA and KY employment law (wage and hour, leave, workers' compensation, safety)
- Demonstrated experience managing employee relations matters independently and with sound judgment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- comfortable building trust with hourly employees and frontline supervisors
- Experience with HRIS and timekeeping systems
- strong Excel/reporting skills
Desired Qualifications
- PHR/SHRM-CP certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
