Job Summary
Human Resources Manager – Dubai is a Dubai-based role within Murdoch University’s transnational campus, delivering strategic and operational HR leadership across Dubai with direct oversight of HR operations, workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, policy interpretation and change management. The role partners with campus leadership to develop and implement people strategies, owns the employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding, oversees HR systems and data integrity, and ensures compliance with local regulations. Requires frequent travel between campuses (including Perth) and the ability to work across time zones; based in Dubai with a fixed-term, full-time appointment of 3 years. Required Qualifications
- Eligibility to work in Dubai and UAE visa/compliance requirements
- Experience partnering with senior leaders on HR strategies including workforce planning and organizational design
- Experience across the employee lifecycle (recruitment to separation) with focus on employee experience
- Ability to travel frequently between campuses and to Perth and other locations
- Flexibility to work outside standard hours to support cross-time zone operations
- Understanding of host country regulatory frameworks in employment and higher education
