Job Summary
Oversee all HR functions for two distribution center sites, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll/timekeeping, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding. Implement HR strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements while overseeing compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Partner with site leadership to address workforce planning, staffing needs, and organizational development. Administer compensation and benefits programs for warehouse staff, manage employee conflicts, coordinate training programs, and analyze turnover trends to implement retention strategies. Serve as the primary liaison between corporate HR and distribution center personnel while overseeing the HR Assistant position. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; 5+ years of HR experience with 3+ in distribution/warehouse environments required. Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification highly desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience
- at least 3 years in distribution/warehouse environments
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations applicable to warehouse operations
- Experience managing HR functions across multiple locations
- Strong conflict resolution and employee relations skills
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to travel between sites on a regular basis
- Experience with high-volume staffing and seasonal workforce planning
- Prior knowledge of DOT regulations
