Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager at ConMet’s Clackamas, Oregon manufacturing facility oversees the HR function for both the unionized Clackamas plant and the Vancouver, WA machining plant. Responsibilities include driving improvements in employee experience (retention, training & development, culture), coordinating with the local union on CBA application, administering policies/procedures and benefits, coordinating recruitment with corporate recruiting, onboarding, employee relations coaching, performance feedback, workers’ compensation administration, safety metrics, leave management, and HR metrics reporting. Provides coaching to managers on development and training plans, supports leave approvals, and partners with corporate teams to continually improve HR efficiency. Bachelor's degree and five+ years HR experience in manufacturing or similar environment, with experience negotiating a collective bargaining agreement; payroll experience preferred; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP certifications preferred.
