Human Resources Manager

Job Summary

Manage day-to-day HR operations at the Salt Lake City site, overseeing hiring, onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration. Provide guidance and mentorship to local teams, handle discipline and terminations per policy, and coordinate with third-party vendors. Plan and supervise payroll and employee benefit programs, including group health, workers' compensation, and retirement plans. Assist the VP of HR with recruitment, performance evaluations, and EEO compliance while developing and analyzing reports on staffing, turnover, and benefits costs. Maintain knowledge of federal and state labor laws to advise management and ensure organizational compliance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business or related field
  • A minimum 5 years HR management experience
  • Thorough understanding of multi-state and federal laws and regulations as related to employment
  • Multi-state experience is required
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong supervisor, leadership and coaching skills
  • Aptitude for problem-solving
  • Thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytically driven
  • Multi-tasker, organized, and on top of things
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate when appropriate
  • Proficiency in Office 365, Google Suite, Office 365, Adobe Acrobat
  • Advanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software
  • Able to work in the office Monday – Friday during regular hours
