Job Summary

Design and deliver the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, serving as the primary point of contact for new hire orientation, benefits questions, leave of absence guidance, and employee relations. Conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins, coach managers on performance management, and manage workplace investigations while ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws. Process HR transactions in ADP and SuccessFactors, coordinate travel for training, and partner with Talent Management and HR Operations to maintain data integrity and resolve discrepancies. Conduct exit interviews to identify trends and manage the offboarding process from start to finish. This fully onsite role in Virginia Beach requires a hands-on presence throughout the manufacturing facility, including occasional exposure to production areas requiring PPE.

Required Qualifications

  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in a Human Resources Manager or equivalent role
  • Working knowledge of employee benefits, leave administration, employee relations, and performance management
  • Solid understanding of state and federal employment laws
  • Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP and SuccessFactors
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently while handling complex issues with minimal supervision
  • Ability and willingness to pass a 10-panel drug screen, 7-year criminal history check
  • Willingness to travel domestically for training
  • Valid Drivers' License must be maintained throughout employment that meets Busch insurance standards
  • Employment with Busch Vacuum Solutions requires current work authorization in the United States. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional bending, reaching, squatting, and kneeling
  • Ability to hear audible alarms and see visual signals
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection, as required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field: Preferred
