Job Summary
Partner with distribution center leadership to develop and execute workforce strategies, lead talent acquisition efforts, and drive retention initiatives through analysis of turnover and engagement trends. Build strong relationships across the operation via visible floor presence and coach leaders on performance management, conflict resolution, and organizational effectiveness. Manage team member relations activities including investigations and policy interpretation, while overseeing compensation, benefits, leave management, and HR records. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain workforce analytics to support data-driven decision-making. Requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of progressive HR experience in distribution or manufacturing, and proficiency with HRIS platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including support of large team member populations in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or other operational environments.
- Demonstrated success leading talent acquisition, workforce planning, retention, and team member engagement initiatives.
- Strong background in team member relations, investigations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Proven ability to build credibility and influence leaders at multiple levels of the organization.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, HRIS platforms, and workforce reporting tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting a distribution center, warehouse, manufacturing, or large-scale operations environment.
- Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.
