Human Resources Manager

Job Summary
Hands-on HR leader responsible for day-to-day HR operations, employee relations investigations, benefits administration (including 401(k) and audits), and full termination processes. Serves as primary point of contact for employee relations matters, coaches managers on difficult employee situations, ensures compliance with federal/state/local employment laws, and partners with strategy to align talent initiatives with day-to-day HR operations. Supervises HR personnel, oversees benefits programs, leave management (FMLA, state leave), and regulatory reporting (EEO-1, VETS-4212, HIPAA). Requires 5+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with strong knowledge of employment law and best practices. Work location is in-office in Albuquerque, NM.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of directly related HR experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, and/or equivalent industry training
- Experience in benefits administration, employee relations, and policy development
- Advanced understanding of employment law and HR principles
