Job Summary
Oversee recruitment, retention, and onboarding while managing employee relations, compliance, and compensation for client groups. Partner with leadership to drive talent management, succession planning, and performance reviews. Conduct workplace investigations, maintain employee files, and serve as the primary contact for benefits and pay inquiries. Support initiative rollouts through change management and assist management teams with engagement planning and coaching. Ensure adherence to employment laws including EEO, OSHA, and FMLA while driving process improvements for people-related programs. Report on HR metrics and prepare presentations as needed. This role supports the Plastic Pipe Strategic Business Unit at Atkore, a leader in electrical and infrastructure solutions, with a focus on building a collaborative workforce.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- 5+ years' years of experience in Human Resources across multiple HR disciplines
- Ability to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships
- Adaptable to changes in the work environment, comfortable with multiple competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events in a calm and logical manner
- High attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and organization
- Proven knowledge of HR systems and databases
- People-oriented and results-driven with the ability to effectively manage a team and projects
- Must be based out of Pendleton, OR
