Job Summary
HR Manager role based in New Albany, OH, with a hybrid work arrangement after training. Drive implementation of key HR initiatives, mentor and oversee the HR team, and partner with operational leaders to address workforce challenges. Responsibilities include payroll audits, onboarding/training/orientation, employee relations investigations, staffing strategies (recruiting, screening, selection, referrals), policy/process improvement, HRIS utilization and training, safety/compliance oversight, and supporting performance management, coaching, and development across the organization. Requires strong collaboration, confidentiality, and the ability to work across all levels of the company; manufacturing HR experience and SHRM/HRCI familiarity are preferred, along with a 4-year bachelor’s degree and 8-10 years in HR (including leadership).
Required Qualifications
- 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required
- SHRM or HRCI Certification preferred
- 8-10 years’ experience within the field of Human Resources, including manufacturing HR experience
- Minimum five years’ experience leading an HR Team
- Experience with multiple HRIS cloud-based systems
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to lead and develop team
- Safety and compliance knowledge (federal and state)
- Employee relations and investigations
- Payroll accuracy and audits
- Onboarding, training and orientation oversight
- Staffing strategies: recruiting, screening, selection, referrals
- Policy development and process improvement
