Job Summary
HR Manager for the Western Canada region focused on providing HR support to Regional Affairs and Cylinder Operations. Responsible for coaching and developing the regional HR business partners, acting as a business partner to regional directors, deploying corporate HR programs across regions, and ensuring alignment with company culture, safety, and quality objectives. Serves as a link between regional HR partners and Centers of Expertise, guiding leadership teams through change, talent management, labor relations, and policy implementation, while promoting a positive working climate and compliant HR practices across Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or equivalent
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, including several years in labor relations
- Travel across Canada and must have a valid driver’s license
- Bilingualism would be an asset (English and French)
- Experience with HRIS
- Knowledge of labor relations management practices, talent management, staffing, compensation and benefits, and employee communications
- Ability to advise employees on HR policies and procedures, promotions, performance and compensation programs
