Job Summary
Human Resources Lead at Liberty Mutual's Global Capability Centre (LDA) in India. Responsible for HR operations, employee relations, policy, recruitment and onboarding, and payroll oversight, with focus on aligning local practices with global standards, ensuring local regulatory compliance, and supporting workforce scaling in APAC. Key duties include establishing HR governance and operating rhythm, shaping workforce strategy, org design and effectiveness, stabilizing HR processes across the employee lifecycle, driving compensation and benefits decisions, and strengthening talent positioning and employer brand. Requires 10+ years of HR experience in GCC/shared services/global organizations, MBA/PG in HR, strong HR policy and labor-law knowledge, proficiency with HRIS/tools (Oracle Fusion HCM; ADP), data-driven decision making, and effective stakeholder management in a matrixed environment. Leadership role with a focus on delivering outcomes in a scaling APAC context.
Required Qualifications
- PG/MBA in Human Resources
- 10+ years of HR experience
- exposure to GCCs, shared services, or global organizations
- Experience building or scaling teams or functions from an early stage
- Comfortable operating in evolving environments
- Track record of driving outcomes
- Experience working with senior stakeholders in a matrixed setup
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws; APAC exposure is useful
- End-to-end HR processes (onboarding, payroll, compensation & benefits, HRIS, compliance, exit management)
- Knowledge of compensation design, benchmarking, and benefits management
- Analytical skills with Excel; HR analytics; HRIS tools
- Proficiency with Oracle Fusion HCM and payroll tools esp. ADP
- Ability to translate global policies into locally relevant practices while ensuring compliance
