Job Summary
Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations projects under close mentorship from the HR team. Assist with job postings, resume reviews, interview scheduling, and recordkeeping while managing compliance-related data analysis and training coordination. Prepare for KDC Day events and handle general, non-confidential benefits communications. Complete weekly assignments between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM during Fall 2026, with a flexible schedule tailored to academic commitments. This unpaid, for-credit internship offers hands-on exposure to HR functions within a family-owned beverage distributor.
Required Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Human Resource Management, Business, Management, Psychology, Communication, or a related field
- A requirement to complete an internship for academic credit through an accredited college or university
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A willingness to learn and take initiative
- Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or a related business field
- This is an unpaid internship
- The internship is temporary and tied to the Fall 2026 academic semester
- Completion of an internship with Kristen Distributing Company does not guarantee or imply an offer of future employment
- The internship is structured primarily for the educational benefit of the intern
- Intern activities will be supervised and will complement, rather than displace, the work of paid employees
- This is an in-person internship at our Bryan, Texas facility
- The intern works under the supervision and mentorship of the Human Resources team
- Internship hours are completed during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
