Job Summary
The HR Intern will assist with Talent Acquisition, onboarding, the administration of the Intern Program, and various HR projects. Responsibilities include promoting SubCom brand on campus, coordinating campus event dates, using LinkedIn/Handshake to promote SubCom at UNH events, attending/c assisting Career Fairs, scheduling/interview coordination, creating offer letters under various conditions, sourcing and screening candidates, promoting roles via LinkedIn and local organizations, interfacing with hiring managers, supporting onboarding and pre-employment screenings, developing/process documentation and job aids, and completing administrative HR duties. Requires enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at UNH, strong communication and MS Office skills, ability to work with diverse teams, and eligibility to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship not offered.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree enrollment at University of New Hampshire
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Background check, drug screen, and credit check
- Resume required to be considered
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in progress (pursuing) required or preferred
- Strong written, oral communication, analytical and presentation skills
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen and credit check
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Experience with LinkedIn and Handshake a plus
- Campus/Recruiting events coordination
