Job Summary
Acts as the community HR administrator overseeing recruiting, workforce management, employee relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, engagement, leave and attendance tracking, payroll, and employee records; ensures regulatory compliance with EEOC, ADA, OSHA; participates in job fairs, college recruitment and open-house opportunities; facilitates performance management and maintains job descriptions; supports payroll preparation and updates; stays current with developments in HR in a healthcare environment; serves on the community's QAPI committee; provides HR consultation and guidance to managers and employees, leveraging business knowledge to improve workforce results.
Required Qualifications
- BA or BS in field related to human resources and benefit administration
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources and administration of employee benefit programs
- Experience in a healthcare environment preferred
- Analytic ability, including familiarity with statistical analysis
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work accurately with detail
- Knowledge of payroll processing, employee benefit administration, and interviewing skills
- Computer experience and skills working with word processing and spreadsheets
- Knowledge of functions and relationships of departments within a health care environment preferred
- Occasionally lifts and transports items weighing up to 10 pounds
