Job Summary
Coordinate onboarding activities from offer acceptance through start date, including monitoring background checks, drug screens, and Form I-9 documentation. Maintain and audit personnel files, process data changes within Dayforce, and respond to routine employee and manager inquiries via email. Administer the quarterly random drug screening program by managing vendor lists, chain-of-custody documentation, and result tracking. Escalate complex employee relations, benefits, leave of absence, or compliance matters to appropriate team members. Ensure all records remain accurate and compliant with federal and state regulations while providing excellent customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field
- Minimum of one (1) year of Human Resources experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including: Excel (intermediate), Word (intermediate), Outlook (intermediate), Adobe Acrobat (intermediate)
- Ability to remain stationary and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to communicate effectively through video conferencing, telephone, and email
- Occasionally move or lift office materials weighing up to 15 pounds
