Job Summary

Develop strong working relationships to provide coaching, guidance, and consultation on full-cycle employment matters for direct labor at the Forest Grove, OR site. Partner with Supervisors to resolve employee relations or disciplinary matters, conduct investigations to ensure fair and consistent practices, and make decisions based on investigation facts. Identify training opportunities to enhance leadership capability and analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the Site HR Manager to drive business solutions. Process job requisitions and offers through Workday, ensure candidate pre-hire actions are complete, and facilitate New Employee Orientation. Support the TTM Operator Advancement Program, promote recognition and rewards programs, and advocate for the HR Shared Services Model by reinforcing the use of the ticketing system. Ensure compliance with state and federal employment legislation including FMLA, OFLA, and Oregon Paid Leave.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business/HR management OR equivalent years of related work experience
  • 3-5 years supporting full spectrum of HR disciplines
  • Experience supporting direct labor in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment and partnership with HR Centers of Excellence
  • Knowledge of HR best practices
  • Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
  • Experience with employee relations and investigations
  • Ability to make decisions on routine employee-related matters
  • High level of integrity, respect for confidential and sensitive information
  • Team-oriented; ability to collaborate and have fun
  • Excellent verbal and written and presentation/communication skills
  • Problem solving skills; ability to research and exercise judgment on basic problems
  • Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC
  • Being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
  • Recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation
  • Understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL)
  • Understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US
  • Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional HR certification, HRCI or SHRM
  • Experience partnering with remote Talent Acquisition to drive recruitment and meet hiring goals
  • Aerospace and Defense industry experience
