Job Summary
Conduct workforce planning, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews for open positions. Manage hiring and onboarding processes while serving as a point of contact for employee questions, complaints, and performance matters. Coordinate new hire orientation, track mandatory training, and support benefits enrollment and payroll coordination. Ensure compliance with labor laws, maintain personnel files, and prepare HR reports. Analyze turnover data to identify trends and support performance improvement initiatives. This role fosters a positive workplace culture within Troutbeck's hospitality environment, contributing to exceptional guest service through collaboration and dedication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
- 2-5 years of Human Resources experience
- Experience with recruitment, employee relations, and HR compliance
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
- Ability to visit various operational departments as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred
- Hospitality industry experience preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar HR certification preferred
